Steven Spielbergs War Horse

This film would not be suitable for anyone who doesnt like films about war or is extremely sensitive about animals due to the fact it is about war and involves scenes which may offend animal lovers.

I enjoyed this film, i dont want to go into too much deatil with it as some of you may not have seen it, what i will say though is that i was overcome with so many different emotions whilst watching this film. I don't tend to get pulled into a film and concentrate on every little detail about it, i tend to just look at the picture and kind of listen to it. This one really captured me though. I walked through the cinema doors with a negative view about the film already, i thought it was going to be boring. I wasnt exactly syked on seeing another Steven Spielberg film after the failure (my opinion) that was Super 8.
You feel literally every emotion possible during this film. Hope, happiness, suspense, sadness ect ect. I even shed a tear at one point in the film. The acting is quality as well. A top notch performance from everybody included in the making of the movie ESPECIALLY the horse. Even if the boyfriend didnt think so, its a must see from me :)

Seann William Scott is GOON

Right, i'll be honest... i've seen this film twice now and i still cant get enough of it! Both me and my fella want to keep going back to watch it again and again. It is a film we will definatly be adding to our ever-growing DVD collection.

So, there isnt really much of a story... it is very basic. There is a lot of unnecassary swearing included and some jokes me and the boyfriend didnt get... the first time round. We also found that Seann William Scott's performance in Goon seemed very sarcastic and put on, i know his character is meant to be a protective and caring Jewish guy but it just seems a littl O.T.T. Maybe it might be due to all his previous roles in films such as the American Pie's and Role Models. I know it looks like a fairly low budget film but this shouldnt throw you off, this is a must see.

Feel Unique Beauty Box January 2012 Review

Hello All :)
Hope you all had a fabulous new year!

I recieved (early) this morning my January Beauty Box from FeelUnique.com.
I enjoy recieving them when i get up as i love the little sticker on the box - mine said Looking Good this month to which i just laughed as id literally JUST got out of bed :P but thanks anyway box!

Here are the contents of the January Beauty Box by FeelUnique.com:

Clean Skin Daily Wash - A non-drying cleanser with Roseship and Olive Oils. I havent used this yet but it does smell lovely. Instructions basically say apply to face and eye area then rinse off with water. A generous sized sample will get a few applications from it.

Caudalie Nourishing Body Lotion - This has made my skin feel greasy and it stayed like that until i got fed up of waiting for it to soak in an wipe off with a towel. I havent been impressed with it so far. I will give it another try as there is still probably enough for another application left in this sample so i will let you know if i change my mind.

Lierac Creme Masque (anti-age) & New Skin Peel Sachet - I am not even 21 yet and do not plan on using any wrinkle or anti aging creams until i am at least 40 so this is going to be trialed by my mother who will inform me daily what it is like and i can let you guys know her opinion. Giving the fact she buys every new anti-ageing cream that comes out she will know if its good or not :P

Spa MAGIK Salt Brushing Sachets x2 - i used one of these this morning before my bath and i have to say my skin does feel really smooth. Now it may just be me but it really stung my legs though like a blistering pain and then felt quite hot. I dont know if this is what is meant to happen but it didnt happen anywhere else on my body. I was surprised with the way my skin felt after using just one sachet though but i dont think it is something i would ever have tried or bought if it wasnt in my box.

PHYTO Paris Express Conditioner - This conditioner states on the bottle it is designed for colour-treated / highlighted hair which is perfect for me as ive recently gone dark during the cold months :) I have used this this morning and i personally think this is the best thing in the box. I am unsure wether it is supposed to do this, but it made my hair dry really quickly whilst also making my dry ends... not dry anymore so i am very impressed with product however it is only enough for once application if you have long hair so im a bit sad i have none left but i think i will invest in this product.

Overall, i am a little dissapointed with my box this month. I'm all about having healthy, good looking skin but these products just havent done it for me really and i was hoping for more of a variety of products not just skincare. This is just my opinion as i feel this box is aimed towards an older range of customers with the cream and moisteriser. I want to keep this going for next month as it is February and hopefully something nice for Valentines Day will be included.

Puss in Boots 3D

Ok, first film ive seen in 2012 has been Puss in Boots 3D and here is my review.

I love the first Shrek film and the 2nd one was okay but they started to bore me a little with the specials for christmas and halloween and the last one they made but that is my opinion. They have obviously done well to make so much off it.

Everyone fell in love with Puss in Shrek when he did those big eyes. Everyone in the cinema went 'Awwwhhh', exactly the same as they did with this film when he did it about 3 times i think.

The film, based around the Jack and the Beanstalk tale, is a bit naff to be honest. I think it was a compilation of jokes they couldnt fit in during the Shrek films, that arnt really that funny. Either i'm getting old or the fluffy ginger cat is.

Starring the voices of Antonio Banderas (obviously), Salma Hayek, Billy Bob Thornton and Zak Galifianakis, i feel the last two were just to add extra celebrity status to get people to watch it. We all know Zak Galifianakis as the funny guy out of Hangover 1 and 2 and also in Due Date with Robert Downey Jnr. No doubt he is funny and has made me laugh but i think that has something to do with the way he acts and LOOKS not really sounds. His voice isnt a very recognisable voice worth using as a character in an animated film.

I was dissapointed with the story basically being a twist on Jack and the Beanstalk, containing a bit of spanish stand off dancing, humpty dumpty trying to be funny and a bit of a love/hate relationship bewteen a cat, another cat and an egg. I found the 'OOOOOOH' cat the best bit in the whole film.

I think there was one thing i noticed in the 3D aswell, i dont even remember what it was it was so slight. Just trying to rob more money off the public that go and see this film.

I wouldnt pay to go and see this film and nor will i watch it again. If you MUST see it, see it in 2D ot wait till its on tele or someone you know has bought the DVD.

My 1st Ever Blog!

Hello to all who are reading,

This is my first ever blog. I am hoping to keep this going to give my reviews on beauty products, fashion and films.

I am an unlimited member at our local cinema so me and my boyfriend literally go and see everything! I would like to post about films we have seen and give you my personal review on them.

I have recently subscribed to the FeelUnique.com Beauty Box thanks to all the blog reviews i have read.

I want to give my thoughts on the box and tell you about the products in detail and comparing the box with my mothers GlossyBox subscription.

I am hoping to recieve my 1st ever beauty box within this week. It was said in my confirmation email that it would be delievered within the first week of the month and looking at the dates of other blogs id say that is true.

So.... Thankyou for reading through my first ever blog. I know there isn't a lot of information here but hopefully my next one will be a little more interesting!
